Curator Huma Kabakcı was selected as a result of a nation-wide open call to undertake a curatorial placement working with the Liverpool Biennial team supported by ICF from May to September 2018 in lead up to the opening of the city’s 10th Biennial, entitled Beautiful world, where are you?
Huma directly worked with the Production team, particularly with coordinating with the performers for the works by artists Kevin Beasley and Taus Makhacheva. Following her experience at the Biennial, Kabakcı also contributed to FAD magazine with her writing on Kevin’s piece, which can be viewed here.
